Date: 23rd Nov, 2024 – Dinner with a Big Fan of Thailand I had an interesting evening on the 23rd of November. It all started when we met during an expected citizenship duty. Since both of us were off duty, I invited her to dinner at a cozy restaurant with a big menu. As usual, I found myself a bit confused by all the options, as I’m someone who loves local thalis from different regions. The menu, however, was filled with a variety of dishes of Korean items, Western items, and many more fancy options. While we were finishing our meal, she showed me a 20 Baht note from Thailand. The material and design were quite different from our currency. She’s a huge fan of Thailand, and just the day before, she had taught me the Thai word "Na RAKK," which means "cute." I really appreciated the compliment! I offered to give her dinner and a ride home, but when I jokingly asked if I could have the Thai currency note as a souvenir, she politely refused. She shared with me how she f...

Ensuing All Nyishi Student's Union Election 2024

Ensuing All Nyishi Student's Union Election 2024: Domo To! Domo To! ANSU! Ne Domo To! This year marked my first experience of being eligible to cast my vote in the  All Nyishi Student Union (ANSU) Election 2024. It was a significant moment for me, where I could finally choose the next ANSU leader. I won’t go into specific details or figures, as I understand it could hurt the sentiments of some individuals. However, the journey itself was incredibly enriching. Throughout this experience, I had the chance to unite with my "Bagang" brothers. I connected with them on a deeper level, learning a lot about life’s obstacles, the challenges they face, and the dynamics of ANSU. It was a valuable journey of personal growth and understanding. Though I actively participated and enjoyed the ANSU election process, it did come at a cost. I had to sacrifice my academic schedule, and as a result, I’ve fallen behind on several assignments and missed parts of the syllabus. Now, my focus is...

3rd University Football Championship (UFC) 2024: Back Again with the Second Content! Hello everyone! Back with my second blog post for the assignment – haha! Here’s a quick recap of my experience at the 3rd Edition of the University Football Championship (UFC) 2024 at RGU Rono Hills. I had the honor of coaching both the men’s and women’s teams for the Mass Communication department. Though I was eager to play with the men’s team, I decided to give the fresh talent a chance, and I’m glad I did. The men’s team made it to the quarterfinals, but we lost 0-3 in a penalty shootout against the History department. The women’s team had a direct entry into the quarterfinals thanks to a lottery but also lost in a penalty shootout, this time to the MBA women’s team. Despite both teams exiting in the quarterfinals, it was an exciting and challenging experience. The best part was connecting with the freshers and getting to know them better. Though it was disappointing to lose, I’ll cherish the ...

Who Am I?

Who Am I? Procrastination at Its Best Hey there! 👋 I’m Tassang Bagang, a Master’s student in Mass Communication at Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Rono Hills, Arunachal Pradesh. And yes, I’ll admit it—I’m lazy. I had an assignment to post five pieces of content on Blogspot, and here I am, scrambling to finish the first one on the last day (November 25, 2024). Classic procrastination, right? I had plenty of time to do this, but I kept pushing it off until today, realizing I had nothing ready. But hey, deadlines are just more exciting when they’re last-minute. I’ve been assigned to explore this platform for a while, and I’ll be sharing my thoughts, discoveries, and random musings over the next few months. Nothing too fancy—just whatever feels relevant. So, join me if you’d like, and feel free to leave feedback! That’s all for now. Stay safe, stay healthy, and let’s see if I can manage to post before the deadline next time. For now, enjoy this random picture I clicked.😉
